The shop's story.
Crop Room opened in Forge Yard in 2016, with two chairs and a kettle. The third chair came when the regulars started bringing their sons, and their dads.
We wanted a barber's that felt like the street around it: brick, wood, plants in the windows and a good conversation. Every visit starts with a chat about your hair and how you live with it, so the cut still works on a Tuesday morning, not just when you leave the chair.
Book ahead if you want a particular barber or time, or walk in and take the next free chair.
